Join us as a Broker & Franchise Development Director
In this high profile role, you’ll be leading the Central Broker & Franchise Development team, taking ownership of the business plan, including the financial and profitability targets aligned to a budget.
We’ll look for you to drive and deliver business from new clients in the UK market.
In return, you’ll be exposed to a broad range of internal and external senior stakeholders, allowing you to develop your network.
What you'll do
As a Broker & Franchise Development Director, you’ll be leading the central broker team and the Franchise Development Managers. Through building senior relationships across the industry, you’ll help develop the visibility of the business in the market. You’ll also be providing excellent line management to your team, by delivering effective planning and management of their workload and sharing best practice.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Developing strategic partnerships that support business development opportunities
- Supporting the development of a positive media profile for the business
- Leading the development of the teams strategy and transformation
- Building a plan to leverage new business from existing clients while developing relationships with broker & franchise stakeholders
- Developing relationships with senior decision makers in target clients to build credibility and trust

The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with experience of business development and the broker and franchise market. We’ll also look for you to have proven experience of leading and developing teams to achieve high levels of success.
You'll need to hold a Diploma in Lending Skills, or equivalent, or be willing to complete the qualification within 18 months of starting the role.
You’ll Also Have
- Knowledge of the full range of products and solutions used by our client base
- Experience in managing a complex risk agenda
- A strong track record of delivering financial targets with proven selling and influencing skills
- A background in matrix management
