We're Hiring! Are you ready for a new challenge? Aon is currently recruiting a Broker to join our International Property team within our Global Broking Centre. You will be responsible for co-ordinating the marketing and negotiation of Asia-Pacific and Canadian business within the Lloyd’s and Company Markets on a day-to-day basis. This is a Hybrid role which will involve part office/home-based working. We’re happy to talk flexible working. What the role will look like Managing and placing large and complex Property programmes across the Asia‑Pacific region. Working closely with Aon Network offices in those territories to deliver client solutions. Reviewing renewal and new business opportunities and developing appropriate placement strategies. Lead and follow market broking, predominantly in the Lloyd’s market. Providing thought leadership and technical placement advice to the Aon Network and clients. Hosting client visits to London and presenting market and placement updates. Using electronic broking platforms, predominantly PPL and Whitespace. Reviewing Contract documentation including Slips and Endorsements. How this opportunity is different The International broking team comprises of 30+ Brokers with their own expertise and various levels of experience. The team serves a portfolio of clients emanating from around the globe. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced working environment, with access to Lloyds, the London market, European markets and other Aon facilities to deliver the International Property requirements of Aon’s clients. Skills and experience that will lead to success Relevant experience gained within the insurance industry at either a Broker or Insurer. Strong technical Insurance knowledge. Well-developed network of relationships within the Lloyds property market. A positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn and develop. Effective communication and presentation skills.
