Overview

Gallagher Specialty is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Broker Support to join our Sport, Entertainment & Media team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with insurance administration or broker support experience who is looking to develop their career within a dynamic and fast-paced specialist division.

Working closely with brokers, account teams, insurers, and internal stakeholders, you will provide vital operational and technical support throughout the placement and servicing lifecycle, helping to ensure exceptional service delivery to our clients.

How You'll Make An Impact

As Broker Support, you will play a key role in supporting the team with the production of market documentation, operational processes, client servicing activities, and ongoing account administration.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and maintaining market documentation, including slips and endorsements.
  • Producing and issuing evidence of cover and other contractual documentation.
  • Using PPL NextGen and other market systems to support placement activity.
  • Producing quote comparisons, placing information, data analysis, and information packs to support the placement of client programmes.
  • Coordinating with Compliance and Sanctions teams where appropriate.
  • Acting as a key liaison with service teams to manage operational tasks and workflows.
  • Supporting the resolution of accounting and credit control queries.
  • Managing monthly renewal processes and reporting requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records within broking and transactional systems.
  • Conducting file checks to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant.
  • Assisting with client, insurer, and internal stakeholder queries.
  • Supporting the team in achieving business objectives and service standards.
  • Ensuring all activities are conducted in line with FCA requirements and Gallagher policies.
  • Maintaining orderly and compliant electronic records and documentation.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, has strong attention to detail, and can effectively manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within a Broker Support, Technical Support, Insurance Administration, or similar insurance-based role.
  • Sound understanding of the insurance market and broking processes.
  • Knowledge of London Market documentation, including slips, endorsements, and client documentation.
  • Understanding of FCA regulations and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Confident building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience within the London Market.
  • Exposure to credit control or accounting-related insurance processes.
  • Knowledge of Accident & Health insurance products.
  • Experience using PPL NextGen or similar market systems.
