About The Role
Working closely with the Asset Finance Broker and leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting all day-to-day sales activity across commercial lending and asset finance transactions. You will own the operational and administrative deal flow—ensuring smooth submission, approval, and payout across our panel of lending partners. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong commercial awareness who thrives in a fast-paced brokerage environment. Although the role is advertised initially as a broker support assistant, this role offers excellent career development opportunities within the wider business to move into a management, relationship manager or sales role depending on your preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboarding & Compliance: Request, gather, and verify essential Know Your Customer (KYC), AML, banking, and accounting information from clients.
- Lender Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for funding partners, submitting full deal packages and tracking progress from credit review through to sanction.
- Sales Support: Manage the administrative workflow for the Asset Finance Broker, handling client enquiries and coordinating documentation from initial enquiry to payout.
- Data & System Management: Maintain accurate client files, transaction pipeline data, and CRM records using modern systems and technology.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate effectively with clients, introducers, and internal colleagues to resolve queries and streamline payout timelines.
- Sales Support: Managing all sales support activity for the brokers BDMs
- Systems Administration: Co-ordinating all broker system activity to ensure compliance with sales and regulatory processes
- Invoicing: Work with the external accountants to ensure accurate invoices and finance administration.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
