At JPMorgan Personal Investing, we're transforming how customers invest,
combining the innovation of a digital wealth platform with the strength and stability of one of the world's leading financial institutions. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Brokerage Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in building and scaling our brokerage operations capability. This role is based on responsibilities supporting brokerage operations, team leadership, corporate actions, mutual funds, risk management, and operational excellence within our growing Personal Investing business.
As a Brokerage Operations Manager in JPMorgan Personal Investing, you’ll have the opportunity to be a key leader and brokerage subject matter expert, helping us shape our future operating model, build high-performing teams, and continue evolving our brokerage function. You’ll lead a team of brokerage professionals while partnering across the business to deliver strong execution and expertise across a broad range of investment operations activities. Job responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted brokerage SME, advising on operating processes, market practices, regulations, and controls.
- Build and scale the brokerage operations function as our business and client needs grow.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee core brokerage operations activities, including corporate actions, mutual funds, securities processing, trade support, account servicing, and escalations.
- Identify and implement opportunities to simplify workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance client outcomes through automation and innovation.
- Manage operational risk, controls, governance, and regulatory compliance across the function.
- Partner with Product, Technology, Client Service, Risk, Compliance, and Operations to deliver strategic initiatives and operational change.
- Drive testing, implementation, and operational readiness for new products, capabilities, and regulatory requirements.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Significant experience within brokerage operations, investment operations, wealth management, or securities services.
- Deep understanding of brokerage products, services, and regulatory environments.
- Extensive experience in corporate actions and mutual fund operations.
- Proven experience leading and developing teams within a regulated financial services environment.
- Strong operational risk and controls mindset.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience driving operational improvements, transformation initiatives, and process optimisation.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience supporting testing, implementation, and change management activities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Experience building or scaling brokerage operations functions.
- Knowledge of UK brokerage and investment regulations.
- Experience in digital wealth management or self-directed investing environments.
- Automation and workflow optimisation experience.
- Advanced data analytics skills, including Alteryx.
- Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.
