Job Title
This permanent post is post funded via the union’s Branch Support and Organising Fund (BSOF) and initially it will be working in our Schools Team on a schools’ organising project across the West Midlands. However, this project is time limited and once the project is completed the post will be allocated to a new project. This project may not be in schools but will be across the West Midlands.
About the Role
You will
- work closely with the branch and activists to build recruitment and organising initiatives
- support casework, develop and train workplace representatives
- support branch communications and campaigns.
Requirements
While previous experience as a caseworker or organiser within a trade union, political or community organisation is desirable, transferrable skills are also welcomed. Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of our union’s values and objectives.
