Role Overview
Are you a people person with good listening and problem-solving skills? Do you possess the determination to make a difference to people’s lives? This role is a great opportunity to help strengthen UNISON Cymru’s work with members and workplaces across the region.
You will support local branches to recruit new members, encourage existing members to get involved, and help people work together to address workplace issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with branches to improve communication with members
- Support local campaigns
- Help identify and develop new activists
- Engage with members one-to-one
- Support recruitment activity
- Assist branches in gathering feedback using surveys and questionnaires
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, flexible, and organized, with experience of working with people and supporting groups. Experience of recruitment, organizing, and campaigning or similar work within a trade union or community organization would be an advantage.

Requirements
- Good understanding of trade union values and the role unions play in organizing and representing workers
- Ability to travel within the region for meetings/training as required
