Renowned Homes

Renowned Homes is a London based new homes consultancy operating as a strategic sales and operations partner to developers, not a traditional listing agency. The company has sold over £80m in new homes and has been recognised in UK Parliament for its work. Renowned Homes takes ownership of how developments are positioned, marketed, and sold, working closely with developers to protect pricing and drive results rather than simply generating exposure. The business is now extending this same standard of ownership into Build to Rent, bringing lettings management in-house to run with the same level of control and accountability applied across the rest of the company.

Role Description

The BTR Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in London, responsible for the end-to-end in-house management of the Build to Rent lettings operation. This includes overseeing leasing performance, resident experience, and day-to-day operational standards.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Running marketing and leasing campaigns
  • Managing enquiries and viewings
  • Referencing and progressing tenancy agreements
  • Reducing void periods
  • Monitoring occupancy and rental income performance against targets
  • Managing the tenant relationship from move-in through renewal
  • Handling escalations directly

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The BTR Manager reports performance and recommendations directly to the founder, and represents Renowned Homes professionally to developers and asset owners on BTR matters. Statutory compliance work, including deposit protection, right to rent checks, and safety certification, sits with a separate Lettings Manager and is not part of this role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in new homes, Build to Rent, or residential property management, with a clear track record of managing developments, units, or lettings operations in-house rather than through a managing agent
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working directly with developers, asset owners, agents, service providers, and residents
  • Proficiency with property management and CRM software, with the ability to monitor and report on occupancy, revenue, and operational performance
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage resident relationships and resolve issues directly and professionally
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to run multiple priorities at once without losing standards
  • Working knowledge of UK residential lettings regulations and health and safety standards relevant to Build to Rent
  • Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and setting your own operational standards rather than following an existing playbook
  • Canary Wharf or East London lettings experience is a strong advantage, particularly where you would bring an existing client base
  • Genuine interest in growing with the business long term. For the right candidate, this includes a future path to a partnership arrangement as the BTR side of the business scales

What We Offer

  • Full ownership of the BTR function from day one. Your standards, your systems, your results, not someone else's process to inherit
  • Direct reporting line to the founder, with real visibility and real influence over how this side of the business is run
  • A genuine path to a partnership arrangement as the BTR operation grows, for the candidate who proves they're the right person to scale it with
  • The backing of a company with a proven track record: £80m+ in new homes sold and recognised in UK Parliament

Why This Role

Most BTR roles ask you to manage what already exists. This one asks you to bring your own standard and set it as the benchmark. If you've run lettings operations that outperformed, and you're looking for a role where that experience is actually valued rather than just used, this is worth a conversation.
