Build Assurance Engineer

Starting from £40,000 | Company Van | Fuel Card | 31 days holiday | Full Training

Help us build a network we're proud of in Moray.

At GoFibre, we're on a mission to bring fast, reliable full fibre broadband to communities across Scotland and the North of England.

As a Build Assurance Engineer, you'll help make sure our network is built safely, correctly and to the highest standards. Working across our build areas, you'll inspect completed works, spot issues before they become problems, and help us deliver a network our customers can rely on.

What does a day look like?

  • Carrying out quality inspections across civils, cabling and fibre build activities
  • Auditing completed works against company and industry standards
  • Identifying defects and raising remedial actions where required
  • Ensuring contractors are meeting safety and quality requirements
  • Recording findings and producing clear inspection reports
  • Working closely with Delivery, Planning and Build Partners to resolve issues
  • Monitoring build quality trends and supporting continuous improvement
  • Helping ensure every part of our network is built right first time

What We're Looking For

  • Experience within telecoms, utilities or network construction
  • Knowledge of FTTP build methods and quality standards
  • Experience inspecting civils, fibre or infrastructure works
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret build drawings and plans
  • Confident using mobile technology and reporting systems
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge when standards aren't met
  • A safety-first approach and commitment to quality
  • Full UK driving licence
