We’re looking for experienced Build / Vehicle Development Technicians to join a leading high-performance automotive organisation, working across exciting prototype and vehicle development programmes.
This is a hands-on role involving the build, preparation, maintenance and development of prototype and high-performance vehicles, with opportunities to support testing both in the UK and internationally.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building and assembling concept, mule, prototype and production-level vehicles
- Preparing, maintaining and updating development vehicles and test rigs
- Carrying out vehicle modifications and upgrades throughout development programmes
- Supporting vehicle testing at proving grounds and race circuits
- Working closely with design and engineering teams
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and instrumentation schedules
- Fault finding and resolving mechanical and electrical issues
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship, workshop organisation and equipment
- Potentially driving high-value performance vehicles within workshop, road and test environments, subject to the required internal driving standards

What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience within motorsport, prototype, low-volume or high-performance vehicle builds
- Hands-on experience with complete vehicle assembly, preparation and development
- Good mechanical knowledge and fault-finding ability
- Welding, fabrication and/or machining skills would be beneficial
- Understanding of automotive electrical and electronic systems would be advantageous
- Experience with diagnostic platforms such as MONaco, CANape or INCA would be beneficial
- Ability to confidently interpret engineering drawings
- Clean driving licence and valid passport
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach
- Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to travel

The role will involve some UK, European and occasional worldwide travel, supporting vehicle test and development activities.
