Role Description

The Build To Rent Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Southwark, London. This position is responsible for managing relationships with institutional landlord clients, ensuring high occupancy levels across Build To Rent portfolios, and overseeing the end-to-end leasing process.

  • Coordinating marketing and leasing activities
  • Monitoring performance metrics
  • Preparing reports
  • Advising clients on pricing, demand, and market trends

The role involves close collaboration with internal operations, marketing, and customer support teams to deliver a consistently high-quality resident experience. The Account Manager will also handle issue resolution, support renewals and retention strategies, and identify opportunities to improve processes and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Client relationship management and account management skills, including experience serving institutional or corporate clients.
  • Commercial awareness and analytical abilities, with a track record of working with KPIs, reporting, and performance dashboards.
  • Organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage complex portfolios or workflows.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, including clear written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, property management or leasing platforms, and general office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations).
  • Background in real estate, Build To Rent, property management, or a related sector is highly beneficial.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, data-driven start-up environment, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
