Based in the Midlands, Box09 is well placed to serve clients across the UK, including nationwide contracts.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Builder role located in the Greater Derby Area with Box09 Ltd. The Builder will carry out a range of building, maintenance, and installation tasks that support data cabling and electrical projects, including basic construction, fitting, and finishing work. The role involves working to agreed specifications and timelines, following health and safety standards, and collaborating with project managers and engineers on client sites. The Builder will also help with site clean-up, materials handling, and proactive identification of safety or quality issues.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in general building, construction, or maintenance work in commercial or industrial environments.
- Knowledge of basic construction techniques, including fitting, finishing, and safe use of tools and equipment.
- Awareness of health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and safe working practices on active sites.
- Ability to interpret instructions, follow project plans, and work effectively with engineers and project managers.
- Strong reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality work to agreed standards.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to client sites within the Greater Derby Area and, when required, nationwide.
- Relevant vocational qualifications (e.g., NVQ or equivalent in construction or building trades) are beneficial.
- Previous experience supporting electrical or data cabling projects, or willingness to learn these areas, is an advantage.
