Want to be part of our community? We’re currently recruiting for a Building Compliance Inspector to join our Health and Safety team.
What you’ll achieve in the role:
The overall purpose of this role is to support the Building Compliance Surveyor in ensuring that all properties managed by Raven Housing Trust are safe for residents, staff, and visitors. This includes inspecting fire doors, identifying and addressing basic fire, water, and asbestos safety issues, and working with contractors to ensure they carry out remedial actions in a timely manner.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and gathering evidence for the purpose of carrying out fire safety inspections in line with fire safety regulations
- Carrying out Flat entrance door inspections
- Working with contractors to ensure they carry out remedial actions in a timely manner.
- Meticulous administration of relevant IT systems, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

What you’ll bring to Raven:
For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:
- Excellent IT Skills, including proficiency to learn new specialist systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
- Focus on delivery of outcomes and ensuring action, demonstrated through effective organisation skills and a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well both as part of a small team and with wider teams across the business
