We’re Hiring: Building & Front of House Manager!
- 📍 Location: Milton Keynes, MK17 8LX - Onsite 5 days per week.
- 💰 Pay: up to £40,000 Depending on experience + 25 days annual leave.
- 🕒 Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Flexible with start and finish times depending on business needs) + Occasional weekend work required to accommodate vendor and contractor access and industry events.

Securitas UK is looking for an experienced and proactive Building & Front of House Manager to lead the day-to-day management of our UK Headquarters in Milton Keynes.
This is a highly visible role with responsibility for ensuring our flagship workplace remains safe, compliant, efficient and welcoming for employees, visitors and clients. You'll take ownership of facilities operations, building maintenance, workplace services, contractor management, health & safety, security and business continuity, whilst also overseeing an exceptional Front of House and visitor experience.
Working closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders across Property, Procurement, Security, People and Health & Safety teams, you'll drive operational excellence, manage supplier relationships and continuously improve the workplace environment.
This role would suit someone with experience in Facilities Management, Workplace Operations, Building Management or Corporate Services who is passionate about creating outstanding workplace experiences and maintaining high operational standards.

Job Description
What you’ll be doing…
Reporting directly to the Head of HR you will:
Building & Facilities Management
- Lead the day-to-day operation of Securitas UK's Headquarters building.
- Manage all building services, workplace facilities and maintenance activities.
- Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and contractor performance.
- Manage facilities budgets and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and service improvements.
- Ensure the workplace remains safe, compliant, professional and fit for purpose.
- Support office space planning and workplace optimisation initiatives.
Workplace Experience & Front of House
- Oversee Front of House operations, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
- Lead the visitor management process, ensuring a seamless and secure experience.
- Coordinate executive visits, client meetings, hospitality services and workplace events.
- Continually improve employee and visitor satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
- Act as a key point of contact for senior leaders, guests and external stakeholders.

Health, Safety & Compliance
- Lead building compliance activities and maintain statutory compliance requirements.
- Ensure adherence to health & safety legislation, company policies and industry best practice.
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
- Support the investigation of incidents and implementation of corrective actions.
- Promote a positive safety culture across the Headquarters.
Supplier & Contractor Management
- Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers and service providers.
- Oversee contractor onboarding, permits to work, RAMS and compliance documentation.
- Monitor supplier performance against agreed service levels and contractual requirements.
- Support procurement activities and contract reviews where required.
Security & Business Continuity
- Work closely with security teams to maintain appropriate site security measures.
- Oversee access control, visitor management and site security procedures.
- Support emergency planning, business continuity arrangements and incident response activities.
- Ensure workplace resilience plans remain effective and up to date.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, coach and develop Front of House and workplace support teams.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
- Set clear performance expectations and drive a culture of operational excellence.
- Provide regular updates and recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications
What you'll bring...
Essential
- Previous experience in Facilities Management, Building Management or Workplace Operations.
- Experience managing corporate office environments and workplace services.
- Excellent knowledge of health & safety, building compliance and contractor management.
- Experience managing suppliers and service contracts.
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident working with senior leaders and executives.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to provide a 5-year checkable employment history.

- SIA Front Line Licence. (Or willing to obtain within the first 6 months in the role)
- Facilities Management qualification.
- Experience working in a corporate headquarters environment.
- Knowledge of IOSH & NEBOSH
