Company Description

We’re Hiring: Building & Front of House Manager!

📍 Location: Milton Keynes, MK17 8LX - Onsite 5 days per week.

💰 Pay: up to £40,000 Depending on experience + 25 days annual leave.

🕒 Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Flexible with start and finish times depending on business needs) + Occasional weekend work required to accommodate vendor and contractor access and industry events.

Securitas UK are on the look out for an exceptional Building & Front of House Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our UK Headquarters building and visitor experience. Responsible for creating a safe, secure and welcoming workplace, you'll oversee front of house services, facilities operations, health & safety, security and compliance, while leading a high-performing team of facilities professionals.

The Building & Front of House Manager is a key point of contact for senior leaders, visitors, suppliers and contractors, you'll ensure our Headquarters operates efficiently, reflects the Securitas brand and delivers an outstanding experience for everyone who visits or works there. Working closely with People, Security, Health & Safety, Procurement and Property teams, you'll drive continuous improvement, operational and service excellence across our flagship workplace.

Other roles with transferable experience may include, previous Reception Leadership Roles, Customer or Client Experience Manager and Building Managers. This is a highly visible role coming at a time of great transformation of our UK Headquarters with exposure to international clients and Leadership teams.

Job Description

What you’ll be doing…

Reporting directly to the Head of HR you will:

Workplace & Facilities Management

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of our UK Headquarters.
  • Oversee facilities, maintenance, workplace services, suppliers and budgets.
  • Ensure a safe, professional and efficient workplace while driving continuous improvements.

Front of House & Visitor Experience

  • Lead the end-to-end visitor experience, ensuring a welcoming, secure and professional environment.
  • Coordinate client visits, executive meetings, events, hospitality and catering.
  • Support senior leaders and continuously enhance customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, develop and coach the Front of House and Facilities teams.
  • Set clear standards and foster a culture of service excellence and accountability.

Safety, Security & Compliance

  • Lead health & safety, security and compliance activities across the Headquarters.
  • Manage access control, visitor management, inspections and audits.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and support incident investigations where required.

Contractor & Emergency Management

  • Manage contractor compliance, permits and risk assessments.
  • Support business continuity, emergency planning and workplace incident response.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience managing facilities, workplace operations, front of house or hospitality services.
  • Experience leading and developing teams.
  • Good understanding of workplace health & safety, security and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing contractors, suppliers and third-party partners.
  • Ability to work confidently with senior leaders and executives.
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • Driving Licence is required for this role
  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • 5 Year checkable employment history and the ability to cover any gaps during that period.

Desirable:

  • SIA Front Line Licence. (Or willing to obtain within the first 6 months in the role)
  • Facilities Management qualification.
  • Experience working in a corporate headquarters environment.
  • Knowledge of IOSH & NEBOSH
