Role Overview

Position: Building & Grounds Attendant
Reporting to: Estate Services Supervisor
Location: Leinster and Dublin Surrounding areas
Contract type: Permanent
Salary: €25,086 - €34,493 (DOE)

To provide and lead a consistent service to our current residents. To improve and develop the current services. The Building and Grounds Attendant role is to ensure the schemes managed are environmentally safe, clean and cared for to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance in communal areas.
  • Develop and deliver a cleaning rota and keep the communal areas within the schemes cleaned to a high standard.
  • To litter pick and clean car parks, bike and storage sheds and surrounding grounds.
  • Regular Health and Safety checks on communal areas and raise or address any issues appropriately.
  • Power washing of communal bin stores and communal outdoor areas.
  • To remove graffiti.
  • Regular patrolling of the scheme, identifying and reporting faults and/or potential health & safety issues.
  • To liaise with external service contractors as required.
  • To work with any refuse contractors to ensure waste is removed correctly.

Person Specification

Knowledge & Skills

  • Good level of general DIY skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to prioritise daily workload
  • Ability to work effectively with people from a wide range of levels and responsibilities

Experience/Qualifications

Experience

  • Experience of maintaining communal Landscaping.
  • Awareness Health & Safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Full clean driver's licence
  • Manual Handling
