BMS Commissioning Engineer (Contract) – UK Wide Data Centre Projects
We are currently seeking experienced BMS Commissioning Engineers to join our team on a contract basis, supporting a range of high-profile data centre projects across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with a strong refrigeration, HVAC, cooling, or controls background who are looking to work on critical infrastructure projects within the rapidly growing data centre sector.
The Role
Working on sites throughout the UK, you will be involved in the commissioning and optimisation of Building Management Systems (BMS) and associated cooling plant. Responsibilities will vary depending on project requirements and can include:

- Initial BMS commissioning and system start-up
- Progressive commissioning through various project stages and levels
- Functional testing and validation of control systems
- Integration and troubleshooting of HVAC, cooling, and refrigeration plant
- Service, fault-finding, and remedial works on live systems
- Working closely with commissioning managers, controls engineers, and client teams
- Supporting project delivery on mission-critical data centre environments
Requirements
- Previous BMS commissioning experience preferred
- Strong refrigeration, cooling, HVAC, or controls engineering background
- Experience working with critical cooling systems or data centre environments advantageous
- Ability to travel and work on projects throughout the UK
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Relevant industry qualifications and site certifications
