Contract: 40 hours per week
The role:
We’re looking for a hands-on Building Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operation of Geneva House and Quinton Business Park.
Role summary:
You’ll be the visible on-site representative for Praxis, working closely with tenants, contractors, Property Management and Facilities Management to ensure the buildings are safe, well maintained and professionally presented.
This role is about more than simply keeping the building running. You’ll be the face of the building for tenants and occupiers, building strong relationships, understanding what matters to them and making sure they receive a consistently high level of service.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys being visible and engaged on site, takes pride in the environment they manage and is proactive in building relationships and creating a strong sense of community within the building.
You’ll take ownership of:
- Day-to-day building operations and presentation
- Tenant relationships, queries and service
- Contractor and FM coordination
- Building inspections, maintenance and issue resolution
- H&S, compliance and site records
- Access, security and building systems
- Tenant move-ins, viewings and site activity
- Supporting projects, procurement and works

Requirements:
- Building / FM experience within a commercial or customer-facing environment in an office/business space asset
- Strong customer service skills, with a genuine focus on creating a positive tenant and visitor experience
- Confident relationship builder, able to develop strong relationships with tenants, occupiers, contractors and internal teams
- Community-focused approach, with the initiative to engage with occupiers, organise events and create a positive sense of community within the building
- Hands-on approach to building operations, maintenance and day-to-day issues
- Strong attention to detail, able to spot defects, presentation issues and potential risks
- Good understanding of H&S, compliance and contractor management
- Highly organised, with strong follow-through and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Clear and professional communicator, comfortable dealing with tenants and stakeholders at all levels
- Takes ownership, acts quickly when issues arise and sees matters through to resolution
- IOSH, NEBOSH or relevant FM qualification desirable

Geneva House
Geneva House is a substantially refurbished three-storey office building with modern open-plan accommodation, landscaped outdoor amenity space, secure cycle storage and EV charging.

Quinton Business Park
Quinton Business Park is an 18-acre Grade A office development located adjacent to Junction 3 of the M5, approximately five miles west of Birmingham City Centre.
