Role Overview
As the onsite Building Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for residents, contractors, leasing partners, and visitors. You will take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the building, ensuring an exceptional resident experience while maintaining high operational, compliance, and service standards.
This is a hands-on role within a small and agile Build to Rent community. You will be responsible for community engagement, tenancy progression, maintenance coordination, contractor management, compliance monitoring, and supporting leasing performance. Working closely with the Asset Manager, you will contribute to resident satisfaction, occupancy performance, and the overall success of the asset.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for all resident enquiries and service requests.
- Deliver a high-quality resident experience and maintain strong resident relationships.
- Manage and coordinate maintenance requests through to satisfactory completion.
- Liaise with and supervise external contractors.
- Monitor compliance requirements and internal compliance scoring.
- Manage tenancy progression including move-ins, renewals, and move-outs.
- Work with appointed leasing agency partners and support pricing discussions with the Asset Manager.

Community Engagement & Resident Experience
- Develop and deliver resident events and initiatives.
- Promote resident satisfaction and retention.
- Manage resident communications and feedback.
Leasing & Occupancy Management
- Liaise with appointed external leasing agency partners.
- Monitor occupancy and leasing performance.
- Support pricing recommendations and market intelligence.
Maintenance, Contractor Management & Asset Care
- Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance.
- Monitor contractor performance and standards.
- Conduct routine property inspections.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Property management or BTR experience.
