As Building Manager, you’ll be responsible for the smooth running of the asset, balancing the operational and commercial requirements of the building with the experience of the occupiers.

There is a strong focus on maintaining high standards while ensuring works are well coordinated and tenants experience as little disruption as possible. You'll therefore need to be confident managing contractors, planning works and communicating effectively with occupiers throughout.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES...

  • Taking full ownership of the day-to-day management and operation of the building
  • Managing and monitoring a service charge budget of just under £1 million
  • Managing contractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard
  • Coordinating projects and planned works across the building and car parks
  • Maintaining strong relationships with tenants and occupiers
  • Acting as a key point of contact for client meetings and stakeholder engagement
  • Ensuring the building is maintained to a consistently high standard
  • Managing tenant communications and keeping occupiers informed of works and changes
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the building and enhance the occupier experience
  • Planning and running events and initiatives to create a stronger sense of community
  • Directly managing and developing the Front of House Manager
  • Working closely with the wider property management and client teams
  • Ensuring the building remains compliant, well presented and professionally managed

ABOUT YOU...

You'll ideally have experience across:

  • Commercial building or property management
  • Contractor and supplier management
  • Tenant and occupier liaison
  • Service charge budgets and financial management
  • Client and stakeholder engagement
  • Planned works and project coordination
  • Managing front-of-house or operational teams

Most importantly, you'll be proactive, approachable and commercially minded. You'll be someone who doesn't simply wait for problems to arise, but looks for ways to improve the building, the service and the occupier experience.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants a role where they can genuinely make an impact.

Salary: Up to £38,000
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
