CETEC is seeking a motivated Building Performance Consultant to join our London team. This hands-on role is ideal for early-career professionals with field experience, strong technical aptitude, and a passion for improving occupant wellbeing.
You’ll work on landmark domestic and international projects, contributing to environmental assessments, building performance testing, certification pathways, and technical reporting that shape healthier, more sustainable buildings across the region.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a graduate or postgraduate scientist to enter a high‑impact field, with full training provided in building performance testing, environmental quality, and global certification frameworks including WELL, BREEAM, and LEED.

Your Responsibilities:
- Field Testing & Diagnostics: Conduct testing, building inspections, and on-site data collection.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare technical reports, interpret data, and support senior consultants in delivering client-ready analysis.
- Project Delivery: Support project delivery through technical reporting, client liaison, and solution implementation.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients and team members to achieve project goals.
- Skill Development: Receive training and formal accreditation in air tightness testing, building performance and sustainability frameworks.
- Develop skills: Gain specialised training in sustainability ratings, environmental health, IAQ, occupational hygiene and building diagnostics.
You will be someone who has:
- A Bachelor’s or Post Graduate Degree in Science, Engineering, Architectural Science or a related field.
- Strong analytical and proven problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret observations in context.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including technical reporting.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- BREEAM Hea05 Acoustics, or NABERS experience will be highly regarded.
