We're recruiting for a Building Performance Engineer to join a prestigious, high-profile corporate environment in Central London
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong engineer who enjoys a combination of hands-on engineering, BMS optimisation, energy management and critical building systems.
🔧 The Role:
You'll play a key role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency and performance of building management systems and critical building services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring, operating and optimising BMS/BEMS systems.
- Diagnosing and resolving BMS alarms, plant faults and system inefficiencies.
- Identifying and implementing energy-saving initiatives.
- Supporting the reliability and energy efficiency of critical systems and data centre environments.
- Carrying out hands-on maintenance, fault finding and repairs across HVAC and BMS-connected equipment.
- Coordinating specialist BEMS contractors and planned preventative maintenance activities.
- Analysing energy consumption, system trends and performance data to drive continuous improvement.

🎯 What We're Looking For:
Strong technical experience with BMS platforms such as Trend, Siemens, Distech, Honeywell, Sauter or Carel.
A background in electrical, mechanical, HVAC or building controls engineering.
Experience working in critical environments, data centres or large commercial buildings.

A solid understanding of energy management, building optimisation and mechanical and electrical building services.
Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and stakeholders.
