An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Buildings Project Co-ordinator to join our thriving UK medical manufacturing company to work within our expanding Buildings Department on a 14-month maternity cover contract.
Based at our Wokingham Headquarters, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating Intersurgical UK’s construction projects, including the organisational requirements associated with capital construction projects.
During this period, we will be building a new factory at our Wokingham site, and the main focus of the role will be to manage and coordinate all building-related activities associated with this large-scale project, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.
Responsibilities Will Include
- Coordinating construction activities, tasks, contractors and relevant staff
- Ensuring all work complies with current Health & Safety legislation, CDM Regulations and company procedures
- Ensuring appropriate contractor controls are followed across the site
- Supporting the planning and organisation of capital construction projects
- Monitoring project budgets and associated expenditure
- Purchasing building materials as required
- Updating 2D CAD drawings
- Promoting and maintaining a safety-first approach throughout all construction activities
Essential Experience/Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Project Manager or Project Co-ordinator
- Extensive knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
- Experience managing construction or building sites
- Understanding of budget management
- Project Management qualification
- Ability to update 2D CAD drawings

Hours of Work
- 40 hours per week
- Monday – Friday
- 08:00am - 16:30pm
