Role Description

The Building Repairs Craftsperson is a full-time, on-site role based in Worcestershire, supporting the safe and efficient operation of Trust buildings and facilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include carrying out routine and reactive building repairs, minor maintenance, and refurbishment tasks across a range of healthcare environments. The role involves inspecting premises, identifying defects, and completing work such as basic carpentry, plastering, painting, tiling, and general building maintenance to agreed standards. The craftsperson will work closely with estates and facilities colleagues, respond to maintenance requests, and ensure all work complies with relevant safety regulations and infection prevention requirements. The role also requires accurate record keeping, effective communication with clinical and non-clinical teams, and contributing to a responsive estates service that supports patient care.
