Multi–Skilled Electrician

Location: Central London & Surrounding Areas (Mobile Role)

Salary: 45,000 + Company Van & Fuel Card

Contract: Permanent, Full–Time

The Opportunity

An expanding building services company is seeking a Multi–Skilled Electrician to join its growing team across Central London. The role involves a mixture of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault finding, electrical installations, and general building services work across commercial and residential properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
  • Complete electrical installations, repairs, testing, and fault finding.
  • Work on:
    • Lighting systems
    • Alarm systems
    • High and low voltage systems
    • Rewiring projects
    • AHUs and FCUs
    • Power installations
    • EICR testing
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently.
  • Undertake light plumbing and general building maintenance tasks.
  • Build strong client relationships and provide excellent customer service.
  • Participate in a call–out rota.
  • Complete reports and maintain compliance with Health & Safety procedures.

Essential Requirements

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Electrical Qualification.
  • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Completed Electrical Apprenticeship.
  • Experience in both PPM and reactive electrical maintenance.
  • Ability to undertake basic plumbing and/or AC maintenance tasks.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Strong fault–finding and problem–solving skills.

Desirable Requirements

  • Mechanical/HVAC knowledge.
  • Air Conditioning and F–Gas experience.

Ideal Candidate

This role would suit a maintenance electrician with commercial building services experience who enjoys a varied position combining electrical work with broader maintenance activities. Candidates with exposure to HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical maintenance will be particularly attractive.

Target candidates: Maintenance Electrician, Building Services Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Multi–Skilled Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Facilities Maintenance Electrician, M&E Engineer.
