About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious Building Services Engineer (Electrical) to join our innovative and fast-growing team at our London office.

Your Responsibilities

  • Working on a variety of projects within the built environment.
  • Crafting innovative electrical system designs for a variety of projects and managing contracts.
  • Producing detailed technical reports and specifications that drive clarity and confidence.
  • Collaborating closely with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Managing design milestones and resolving technical challenges.
  • Compliance with Health & Safety requirements, practices, and procedures.

Requirements

Our ideal Building Services Engineer (Electrical) must have:

  • HND/Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Knowledge and understanding of BS7671.
  • Familiarity with electrical and lighting design softwares such as Hevacomp/Amtech/Dialux.
  • Excellent communication skills, collaborative, and self-motivated.
  • Experience with Revit MEP.
  • Fire alarm and emergency lighting design experience.
  • Hands-on knowledge and understanding of AutoCAD.
  • Structured wiring system and security system design experience.
  • Knowledge of current legislation e.g. Scotland Building Regulations, also Low/Zero Carbon Technologies and BREEAM.
