Job Title: Building Services Engineer

Location: Windsor, Berkshire – SL4 Area

Pay Rate: £20.20 per hour (PAYE)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Contract: Temporary Assignment – Immediate Start to 23 May 2026

We are currently recruiting for a Building Services Engineer to support facilities maintenance operations at a major commercial site in Windsor.

The role will involve carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across building systems, plant, and equipment while ensuring service levels and operational standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical and mechanical building systems
  • Respond to reactive maintenance issues across the facility
  • Undertake small installation works and repairs, including basic plumbing and building fabric tasks
  • Ensure maintenance activities are completed in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Liaise with sub-contractors where specialist repairs or quotations are required
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure works are completed to a satisfactory standard
  • Accurately complete maintenance records and close out tasks within the site maintenance system
  • Respond to site engineering emergencies where required

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience working as a Building Services Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Multiskilled Engineer
  • Experience with PPM schedules and reactive maintenance in commercial facilities
  • Ability to carry out basic electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building fabric repairs
  • Good understanding of health and safety procedures within facilities maintenance
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
