Summary

Ready to lay the foundation for your career? Our Regional Facilities Management team is looking for dynamic, ambitious, and solution-focused graduates to join our 23-month Graduate Scheme. You will play a vital role in keeping Lidl’s estate running smoothly. Taking you on an intensive learning journey that gives you the best possible exposure to our core Building Services, Facilities and Estate Management business areas, along with a range of opportunities to build your experience, resilience, and business acumen.
Building your expertise from the ground up, you will rotate and gain hands-on experience in Stores and Warehouses within your geographical area. Managing large projects, responding quickly to business needs and developing into a specialist. If you’re organised, solution focused and ready to take on responsibility from day one, this is your chance to shape the spaces of one of the UK’s fastest growing retailers and take that exciting first step in your career.
The process will also include a video interview and face-to-face assessment centre held in our Head Office in Tolworth on 08/12/2026. We look forward to receiving your application.

What you'll do
- Rotate through Sales, Logistics, Facilities Management and Head Office teams to build comprehensive business knowledge
- Develop expertise in regional maintenance operations, using problem-solving skills, and commercial awareness to deliver effective maintenance solutions.
- Assist in obtaining cost estimates, run and participate in contract tenders and negotiations and track Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) service schedules.
- Gain hands-on experience in M&E compliance, building services and energy sustainability, supporting safety audits, energy initiatives and market-leading technologies across our stores and distribution centres.
- Lead live projects and deliver impactful results for the business
- Travel across a number of stores and RDCs across an extensive geographical area
- React to challenges and business needs to ensure our environments are safe for colleagues and customers
- Conducting annual inspections and energy audits
- Opportunities to assume responsibility for daily operations, budget controls, and emergency maintenance and escalations across your assigned
What you'll need
- Achieved or 2:2 or higher in a Bachelor's Degree
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Facilities/Building Manager, Business or Engineering is preferred but not essential
- Are eligible to work in the UK on a full-time basis and able to provide proof when required
- Able to commute/relocate within a reasonable commute to our Head Office in Tolworth, South West London
- Possession of a full UK driving licence by 1st February 2027
- A leader who is proactive but highly flexible, with the resilience to react positively to short-notice deadlines and reactive maintenance challenges
- Ability to communicate confidently and effectively across all levels of the business
- A collaborative mindset with the confidence to take ownership of an individual task
- Self-motivation and determination to succeed in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- To be flexible and open to travelling across a cluster of store or RDC locations
