Job Title – Maintenance Electrician
Location – Harrogate, North Yorkshire
Salary – £34,500 - £38,500 + £3185 for Callout
Shift – Days (Mon–Fri 8:00am – 4:00pm + 1 in 4 on-call rota)
Job Role of the Maintenance Electrician
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established and highly respected FMCG business based in Harrogate. This is a unique role offering a 50/50 split between a manufacturing site and supporting multiple local team rooms, giving excellent variety in your day-to-day work.
This family-run organisation is known for its strong values, high-quality products, and continued investment into its people and facilities. It is an ideal role for an electrician who enjoys a mix of hands-on maintenance, problem-solving, and working across different environments.
You will be responsible for supporting all building-related equipment and services, with a strong focus on electrical systems (70%) alongside some mechanical support (30%). This includes installation, testing, fault finding, and maintenance of systems such as fire alarms, BMS systems, ventilation, and general facilities.

Sector – Electrical Maintenance / Facilities Maintenance
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Electrician
- Experience in electrical maintenance within building services or facilities
- 18th Edition qualification
Requirements for the Maintenance Electrician
- Strong electrical fault-finding experience
- Ability to carry out basic mechanical tasks when required
- Experience working with systems such as BMS, fire alarms, and ventilation
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Electrician
- Experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
The Maintenance Electrician will benefit from:
