A leading property developer is looking to recruit an experienced Building Services Project Manager to join the team delivering a landmark £300 million mixed-use development in Bristol.

This is a senior project leadership role, responsible for the successful planning, coordination and delivery of all mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) packages across a major construction development. Working closely with the Project Director, Design Team and Commercial Team, you will take ownership of the building services strategy from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring programme, commercial and quality objectives are achieved.

What you'll be doing

  • Taking overall responsibility for the planning and delivery of all mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) packages
  • Managing the building services programme, procurement strategy and project milestones
  • Coordinating consultants, designers, specialist subcontractors and internal project teams
  • Reviewing technical designs, specifications and value engineering opportunities to ensure buildability and project success
  • Working closely with the Commercial Team to manage package performance, budgets, variations and risk
  • Leading project meetings with key stakeholders and providing regular progress updates to senior management
  • Overseeing commissioning and handover strategies to ensure a successful project completion
  • Supporting and providing direction to the Building Services delivery team throughout the project lifecycle

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Building Services Project Manager, MEP Project Manager or similar role delivering major construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) systems
  • Experience managing building services packages from pre-construction through to completion
  • Strong understanding of procurement, programme management and commercial processes
  • Previous experience working for a developer, main contractor or specialist MEP contractor
  • HNC, HND or Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience)
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
