We are looking for a Building Services Supervisor to join our award-winning team onsite at Victoria Embankment.
Job Purpose
Ability to lead a diverse team of multiskilled engineers to ensure high performance and delivery.
- To ensure completion of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, Small Projects, and Helpdesk Calls in accordance with both client and JLL requirements.
- To manage and monitor the buildings operational functions.
- To be responsible for the buildings operational assets and systems whilst on shift.
- Support the team with permit to work for all specialist vendors and carry out appropriate isolations via LOTO.
- To ensure EHS, statutory, and contractual compliance is delivered and maintained, inclusive of Fire, Life & Safety, L8 Water Management, F-Gas, Pressure Systems, Gas Safe.
- To ensure building operating conditions are maintained in line with design specifications together with confirmation of in-country regulations and contractual requirements.
- To ensure all site documentation is collected, analyzed, and recorded.
- To produce monthly operational reports and additional reporting when required.
- To complete HV/LV training and support the facilitation of switching and isolation for Maintenance and Projects activities.
Aims and Objectives
- To act as a single point of contact for All Engineering matters across the location.
- Assist ESM in the safe and delivery of all JLL services and projects.

- All aspects of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, and Help Desk Calls managed and completed whilst on shift.
- Staff supervision including sub-contractors and specialist providers.
- Be proactive with regard to preventative maintenance and extra works.
- Maintain clear and legible records as required.
- Provide written incident reports as required.
- Interaction with JLL support staff, providing information as required.
- Switching of HV and LV supplies as required.

Person Specification
Essential
- Indentured Apprenticeship
- City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognized equivalent; or
- 17th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I.E.E) Registration or recognized equivalent
- Experience gained within a critical maintenance environment.
- A good working knowledge of BMS and critical assets and systems i.e., UPS, Emergency Generation-Electrical and Mechanical distribution, Air conditioning.
- Ability to interpret technical information and work with the team to provide solutions to technical / complex issues.
- Good leadership qualities, with a desire to progress within the business.
- Ability to adapt to differing in-country regulation and compliance.
- PC literate.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Sound leadership qualities.
- Self-supervision.
- Proactive, positive approach and attitude.
- Proven problem-solving abilities.

- ILM Leadership and Management Level 2 or 3.
- HV/LV Authorised Person Training.

- Confined Space Training.
- IPAF.
- PASMA.
- IOSH Managing Safely.
- Legionella management for Water Systems.
Knowledge
10 years of Building Service experience within a large demanding financial institution, with direct experience of operating and maintaining business-critical assets and systems. This will include, but not limited to; Static UPS, Emergency Generation, Packaged Chillers, A/C, BMS, Distribution systems, and associated auxiliaries. A sound working knowledge of emergency and standard operating procedures is also required.
