About The Role

This role is ideal for a Building Surveyor with consultancy experience who enjoys a blend of project and professional work and is looking to further develop their career within a supportive and flexible environment.
The Role
This is a varied position combining both project delivery and professional surveying duties, including:
- Surveying properties and producing accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings.
- Preparing plans and documentation for tender purposes.
- Producing specifications, pre-construction safety documentation, and tender packages.
- Managing and administering tender processes.
- Undertaking contract administration duties under JCT Minor Works and Intermediate Forms of Contract.
- Managing refurbishment, repair, and maintenance projects from inception through to completion.
- Conducting building inspections, condition surveys, and defect diagnosis.
- Attending client, contractor, and stakeholder meetings whilst providing professional advice.
About You
- Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
- Previous consultancy or private practice Building Surveying experience.
- Experienced in surveying existing properties and producing 2D AutoCAD drawings.
- Ability to prepare plans, specifications, pre-construction documentation, and tender packages.
- Contract administration experience under JCT Minor Works and Intermediate Contracts.
- Good understanding of Building Regulations and construction processes.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects whilst working both independently and as part of a wider team.
- Working towards MRICS status would be advantageous but is not essential.
