A Quantity Surveying and Project Management Consultancy Seeks a Director of Building Surveying
A Quantity Surveying and Project Management consultancy, based in the heart of London, is now seeking a Director of Building Surveying to spearhead the Building Surveying function and build a team around them.
With over 10 years of trading, the business has grown to around 160 employees across a number of nationwide offices, with ambitious plans to reach 250 over the next five years. With a strong pipeline of work across the health, education, residential, retail and defence sectors, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing consultancy and play a key role in shaping the future of its Building Surveying offering.
What are they looking for?
- A Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with strong technical and commercial experience
- Someone who can take ownership of and develop the Building Surveying offering nationally
- A proven track record of winning work, developing client relationships and generating new business
- The ability and ambition to build, lead and mentor a team
- Someone commercially minded who can identify opportunities across the existing client base and wider market
- A strong communicator who can operate confidently with clients, contractors and senior stakeholders
- Most importantly, someone entrepreneurial who wants to build a Building Surveying division around them, rather than simply inherit one
