Building Surveyor | Manchester
Up to £55,000 depending on experience | Flexible working
I’m working with a Manchester building consultancy looking for a Building Surveyor who enjoys taking projects from the first survey through to completion.
You’ll work on a varied portfolio of refurbishment and building surveying projects. One week might involve surveying a property and investigating defects; the next, developing drawings and specifications, preparing a tender or managing works on site. You’ll have direct client contact and the chance to take ownership of projects within an experienced team.

The work includes:
- Building surveys and investigating defects
- Producing specifications and AutoCAD drawings
- Preparing tender documents and working with contractors
- Administering building contracts and seeing projects through on site
You’ll need practical building surveying experience, confidence using AutoCAD and some experience with contract administration. Familiarity with JCT contracts would be particularly useful.

Chartered and non-chartered surveyors are welcome. If you’re looking to start your APC or are already working towards chartership, the team can support you through that process.
