Building Surveyor

Construction Consultancy

London | Hybrid Working

Ready for your next move?

If you're a Building Surveyor who wants more variety, more ownership and a clear path to progress, this could be a great opportunity to join a consultancy that's going from strength to strength.

We're working with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy that's continuing to grow its Building Surveying team across London and the Southeast. With a strong pipeline of new work, they're looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to join the team and play a key role across an exciting mix of professional and project-based work.

You'll work across education, healthcare, commercial, government, defence, infrastructure and public sector estates, giving you the chance to broaden your experience and work on projects that genuinely make an impact.

What you'll be doing

You'll have plenty of variety in your day-to-day work, with responsibilities including:

  • Providing professional Building Surveying advice across a diverse property portfolio.
  • Undertaking condition surveys, defect investigations and technical due diligence.
  • Leading refurbishment, maintenance and improvement projects from inception through to completion.
  • Acting as Contract Administrator across JCT and NEC contracts.
  • Producing specifications, schedules of work and technical reports.
  • Working alongside clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful projects.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior surveyors while developing your own technical and commercial expertise.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
