About The Role
Building Surveyor – Exeter, up to £45,000 per annum, full time (37 hours per week) with hybrid working. You will deliver professional surveying services for a multi-disciplinary consultancy, managing projects across Devon from inception to completion. Responsibilities include preparing specifications, drawings, and tender documentation, conducting condition surveys, and offering technical guidance to clients. What You’ll Do
- Lead and deliver building surveying projects in line with RICS standards
- Provide expert technical advice to clients and colleagues
- Prepare specifications, drawings, tenders and risk assessments
- Manage contracts, monitor sites and ensure quality throughout
- Carry out condition surveys, dilapidations, defect analysis and technical reporting
- Contribute to conservation projects and innovative repair solutions

- Professional RICS membership (or working towards chartership)
- Strong experience across new build and refurbishment projects
- Solid understanding of Building Regulations and surveying legislation
- Confident stakeholder engagement and client‑facing skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a wider technical team
- Full UK driving licence
