Building Surveyor

My client is seeking a Building Surveyor to join its growing Leeds office. This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor looking to work across a diverse range of projects while developing their career within a well-established and expanding consultancy.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering a mixture of professional and project-led Building Surveying services across a varied client base.
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking building surveys, inspections, and defect diagnosis.
- Preparing technical reports, specifications, and schedules of work.
- Delivering contract administration services on refurbishment and repair projects.
- Carrying out condition surveys and planned preventative maintenance assessments.
- Managing projects from inception through to completion.
- Providing professional advice to clients on property-related matters.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business.

About You
- Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
- MRICS qualified or actively working towards chartership.
- Experience within a consultancy environment.
- Knowledge of both professional building surveying services and project work.
- Good understanding of JCT contracts.
- Strong report writing and communication skills.
- Commercially aware with excellent client-facing abilities.
- Full UK driving licence.
