RTP Surveyors is looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to join our established team, primarily undertaking residential Building Surveys and RICS Level 2 Home Surveys.
This is an opportunity for a confident and experienced surveyor to take on a varied largely residential workload within a well-established RICS Chartered Building Surveying practice. The successful candidate will be expected to manage their own workload, travel to and undertake inspections and produce clear, accurate and professional reports. Previous experience undertaking Building Surveys is essential.
The role:
- Primarily residential Building Surveys and RICS Level 2 Home Surveys across Cornwall and occasionally beyond
- Managing inspections, reporting and client communication
- Working independently while being part of an experienced surveying team
- Predominantly residential work, with the opportunity to become involved in other areas of the practice

About you:
- Preferably MRICS qualified, but AssocRICS with suitable experience will be considered
- Proven experience undertaking residential Building Surveys, preferably residential focussed
- Strong knowledge of building construction and defects
- Excellent attention to detail, report-writing and communication skills
- Be confident working independently and managing a busy workload to deadlines
