Building Surveyor
A hands-on Building Surveyor position offering responsibility for reactive repairs, planned works, stock condition surveys, contract administration and project delivery across residential assets. This role would suit a technically competent surveyor looking for a varied workload, strong work-life balance and the opportunity to make a tangible impact.

Description
- Managing building projects from inception through to completion.
- Delivering reactive repairs, planned maintenance and investment programmes.
- Undertaking stock condition surveys and property inspections.
- Preparing specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation.
- Contract administration and contractor performance management.
- Producing reports and analysis for stakeholders and senior management.
- Supporting budget management and delivering value for money across projects.
- Ensuring compliance with current construction legislation and CDM regulations.

Profile
- HND in Building Surveying or equivalent qualification.
- Experience delivering maintenance and property investment services.
- Experience managing projects from planning through to completion.
- Strong contract administration knowledge.
- Experience carrying out property inspections and stock condition surveys.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of housing maintenance and residential property management.
- Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and best practice.
- Good IT skills and experience using maintenance management systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
