An exciting opportunity has arisen where we are looking for a conscientious, hard-working individual to join our Transport Team on our bulk blowing vehicles based out of our Lancaster Mill.

THE JOB
- To operate LGV vehicles for the delivery and collection of animal feed product safely, effectively, and efficiently within the law to meet the needs of customer orders and production.
- To deliver feed efficiently and effectively to generate revenue to allow the fleet profitability to be achieved.
- To deliver outstanding service to customers, promoting the company brand and confidently identifying customers' needs and solving their problems.
- To ensure the vehicle is driven to meet the needs of the company's Operator's Licence, ensuring that the business always remains legally compliant.
- To work in a safe manner ensuring that the health and safety of themselves, colleagues and other stakeholders, including the general public, remain the highest priority.
- Adheres to daily tasks and routines ensuring they are completed in a timely manner with the ability to adopt a flexible approach to enable the fleet to run efficiently.
- Accountable for ensuring that driving style and performance is regularly reviewed and acted upon to continually support the company in achieving its fuel efficiency standards.
- Take a proactive approach to ensuring that any concerns regarding quality, service and environmental and safety issues are reported and addressed without delay.
- Adhere to Company and Group policies and procedures, including but not limited to those relating to Safety, Health and Environmental.
- To ensure all relevant legislation and approved codes of practice, are adhered to in respect of ongoing compliance, including but not limited to UFAS, FIAS, & NOPS assurance schemes.

Skills, Experience And Qualities Required
Essential:
- LGV Licence (Desirable Class 1)
- Driver CPC
- Flexible approach to work, including delivering bulk feed when required.
- Excellent communicator who can build strong working relationships with all colleagues.
- Ability to work independently using their own initiative.
Desirable:
- Experience of Animal feed / Agriculture.
