Job Purpose

The Digital Samples Coordinator at Burberry plays a pivotal role in orchestrating the seamless delivery of product imagery that defines our online luxury experience. This role involves leadership and strategic coordination within the Digital Samples team, ensuring that Burberry.com consistently features high-quality, visually compelling images aligned with our brand standards.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will oversee the scheduling and execution of photoshoots, manage the lifecycle of digital samples, and uphold stringent quality controls. Your commitment to operational excellence will support key projects such as seasonal campaigns, lookbooks, and runway collections, ultimately enhancing Burberry's global digital presence and commercial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate end-to-end product imagery shoots across assigned categories, ensuring alignment with seasonal priorities and brand objectives.
  • Manage daily shoot operations and sample logistics, facilitating efficient movement and tracking of products.
  • Collaborate proactively in weekly planning meetings to optimize studio set preparations and resource allocation.
  • Administer the shoot calendar on the Flo platform, maintaining up-to-date scheduling and communication.
  • Develop and refine workflows in partnership with Showroom, Photo Studio, Product Development, and Merchandising teams to enhance season-on-season efficiency.
  • Evaluate and decide on resampling budgets and product selections each season to ensure timely content delivery.
  • Oversee quality control protocols and manage the return process of samples to maintain their integrity.
  • Coordinate special shoots including press and VIP requests, ensuring these high-profile projects receive meticulous attention.
  • Monitor and report on content readiness, tracking any delays and liaising with Digital Merchandising to mitigate impacts.
  • Supervise the reshoot process, integrating it smoothly into ongoing shoot schedules.
  • Prepare and guide the pre-styling phase each season, equipping assistants with the necessary tools and information.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by supporting shoot operations across London studio locations in Hackney and Westminster.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Experience in a similar role within a Studio environment, within luxury fashion preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Good problem-solving abilities
  • Positive approach, self-motivated, and uses own initiative
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build cross-functional relationships
  • SAP knowledge preferred
