Created by Bake Street’s Feroz Gajia, Manna serves bold, indulgent American comfort food done properly. The menu brings together cult smash burgers, crispy fried chicken and diner-inspired favourites—including double patties, hot chicken, loaded fries and thick shakes.
About The Role
We’re looking for an energetic and passionate Burger Chef to join the Manna kitchen team.
You’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking our signature smash burgers to the highest standard, helping us consistently deliver the quality, flavour and attention to detail behind one of London’s best burgers.
This is a hands-on kitchen role in a busy, fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with your Team Leads, fellow chefs and Shop Manager to deliver smooth services, exceptional food and the consistently high standards that make Manna a guest favourite.
As a Successful Burger Chef, You Will
- Prepare, cook and present Manna’s smash burgers and wider menu to our quality standards
- Build strong knowledge of our ingredients, cooking methods, specifications and brand values
- Cook burger patties accurately and consistently during high-volume services
- Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation standards
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, food safety and kitchen organisation
- Complete preparation and restocking to ensure the kitchen is ready for service
- Communicate effectively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Follow all food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures
- Take advantage of training and development opportunities to grow your skills and career
- Help ensure every guest receives a burger worthy of Manna’s reputation

We’d Love To Hear From You If You
- Have experience working as a burger chef, grill chef, line chef or kitchen team member
- Understand how to cook burgers consistently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- Take pride in producing excellent food every time
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Work well as part of a close-knit team
- Can remain calm, organised and focused during busy services
- Have good communication skills
- Are eager to learn and develop within a growing business
- Bring energy, enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in
