Bus Cleaner/Shunter - Nightshift

Position Overview

Do you want to be part of our dedicated team of Cleaners, Engineers and Maintenance staff that look after our fleet of vehicles at our Leicester depot? If yes, this Bus Cleaner/Shunter - Nightshift position could be just the job for you!

Key Details

  • Hourly Rate: £15.51 per hour
  • Annual Salary: £31,454 per annum
  • Overtime Rate: £17.57 per hour
  • Minimum Hours: 39 hours per week
  • Schedule: 5 days over 7
  • Shift Timings: 21:00pm-05:30am (with an early finish one shift per week)
  • Contract Type: Full time & permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Interior and exterior vehicle cleaning duties including a monthly deep clean routine across all vehicles
  • Vehicle under chassis and wheel cleaning using a pressure washer
  • Fuelling/charging vehicles when required
  • Shunting and parking vehicles ready for the next days service (full training provided)
  • Recording details of all work completed accurately

About You

  • You must hold a valid UK driving license to be considered for this role
  • Do you have a flexible approach to working hours?
  • Do you have previous cleaning experience?
  • Bus driving experience would be beneficial, a PCV license is not required as you will not be driving buses outside of the depot grounds
