Depot Operations Manager

We are now seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Depot Operations Manager to lead, inspire, and support our team in Porth. In this pivotal role, you will drive exceptional service delivery for our customers, champion a robust safety culture, and ensure that our people and our customers remain at the heart of everything we do.

To succeed, you will need a strong track record in team leadership and a proven ability to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and ensure the welfare of drivers and a team of Duty Managers
  • Plan and deliver a cost-effective, customer-focused daily operation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure the delivery of a safe, reliable, and high-quality service
  • Work collaboratively with the Engineering Manager to drive overall depot performance

What We're Looking For:

  • An experienced Operations Manager, ready for a new challenge
  • Transport Manager CPC Level 3 qualification (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead with confidence and clarity
  • Working knowledge of allocation systems and relevant transport legislation
  • A calm, capable approach to typical management challenges
