Business Development Lead – Structured Finance
Location – Remote First / Flexible
The company:
An AI company focused on financial services, helping banks, asset managers, and fintech firms adopt artificial intelligence safely and effectively, is seeking a part-time business development lead to focus on growth within the Structured Finance community.
Combining deep domain expertise in structured finance with practical AI implementation through innovation programmes, executive workshops, industry events, and open-source software, their work spans AI strategy, governance, training, and product development. They collaborate with leading financial institutions.
They are a small, fast-growing company looking for someone who enjoys building relationships and creating commercial opportunities within an expanding sector.
You will be involved in:
- Developing new commercial relationships with banks, asset managers, fintechs, and financial infrastructure providers across Europe.
- Identifying opportunities for AI strategy engagements, executive workshops, innovation programmes, and training initiatives.
- Building and managing a pipeline from initial outreach through to commercial negotiations and contract signature.
- Representing the company at Structured Finance industry conferences, meetups, and client events while expanding their network within financial services.
- Working closely with the founders to shape their go-to-market strategy and provide market feedback that influences new products and services.
- Helping establish long-term strategic partnerships with technology providers, industry associations, and ecosystem partners.

You will have:
- A strong network within European financial services/the securitisation community, ideally across investment banks, asset managers, fintech, or capital markets.
- Experience selling consulting, technology, or enterprise software solutions to senior executives and business leaders.
- A consultative sales approach with the ability to understand client challenges and develop long-term trusted relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- A highly entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in an early-stage environment.
- An interest in artificial intelligence, financial technology, and emerging technologies.

Additional notes:
This is initially a fractional/part-time business development role, ideal for an experienced commercial professional with an established network who is looking for a flexible engagement. As the company continues to grow, there is significant opportunity for the role to evolve into a full-time leadership position with responsibility for building the commercial function.
