A leading UK law firm is looking for a Business Acceptance Analyst to join its collaborative and well-established Risk & Compliance team in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in both AML and conflicts within a law firm who is looking to further develop their career in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
The Role:
As a Business Acceptance Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the firm's new business and client onboarding processes by:
- Conducting conflict searches and analysing potential legal and commercial conflicts.
- Reviewing new client and matter opening requests.
- Undertaking Client Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) in line with AML regulations.
- Carrying out sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening.
- Liaising with partners and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and obtain outstanding information.
- Ensuring compliance with the firm's policies, the SRA Standards and Regulations, and UK Money Laundering Regulations.
- Maintaining accurate records and assisting with wider risk and compliance projects where required.

About You:
You'll have previous experience working within a law firm Business Acceptance, AML, Conflicts or Risk team, with exposure to both AML and conflicts processes. You will be confident reviewing client due diligence, analysing conflicts, and communicating with stakeholders at all levels. Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.
