Leading International Law Firm | London
Our client, a highly regarded international law firm, is looking for an experienced Business Acceptance professional to join their compliance team. This is a key support role focused on conflict searches, new business intake and matter openings. You will play a central part in protecting the firm and enabling fee-earners to take on work safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyse conflict search results to identify potential regulatory and commercial conflicts, and help resolve them using Intapp Open
- Manage incoming requests for new client and new matter openings
- Conduct client due diligence (CDD) research and support fee-earners in gathering the required information and documentation
- Implement and maintain information barriers
- Carry out sanctions screening
- Work closely with other business support teams, including IT and Accounts
- Assist with testing software upgrades relevant to the Business Acceptance function (including Intapp Open)

What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in an established compliance function within a law firm (this is essential)
- Strong understanding of Anti-Money Laundering legislation and conflicts rules across multiple jurisdictions
- Confidence presenting to and dealing with senior stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
- A proactive attitude and willingness to adapt quickly to changing processes
- Undergraduate degree
- Experience with Intapp Open is desirable
