Are you an experienced Business Account Manager (BAM) who thrives on building brands, developing strong customer relationships, and delivering outstanding commercial results?

This home-based BAM role offers a fantastic opportunity to work alongside the internal virtual team to deliver the annual commercial budget and improve share of WG&S brands with one of our most strategic and important e-commerce UK Retailers (Amazon & Ocado). Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver Amazon & Ocado commercial budget within channel strategy to fast track the WG&S business and deliver sales, contribution and share growth in line with 5YP and budget ambitions.
  • Responsible for creating the e-commerce strategy for Retail and working alongside our Grocery team to ensure synergy & alignment across the WG&S UK business.
  • Ensure all trade investments are supported with clear objectives and appropriate conditions, enabling clear measurement and evaluation of investments to help drive & improve ROI.
  • Own JBPs and Customer Account Plans that ensure agreements are clearly documented for both parties and successfully tracked to course correct any performance from an internal and external perspective.
  • Manage customer compliance to agreements, through regular reviews and interventions where required.
  • Deliver targeted Cost Price Increases (CPI’s) with ability to deliver via Net Revenue Management measures where appropriate.
  • Deliver brand MES standards (visibility) across both Amazon & Ocado supported by the virtual team.
  • Accountable for implementing rigorous operational standards and controls on forecasting and company spend to deliver within budgeted targets (e.g. Forecast Accuracy/Bias, Pricing, CD’s, T&E, Overheads, P-spend).
  • Develop and sustain/improve customer engagement with trade partners and key contacts.
  • Proactive member of the channel team – driving for company values on engagement, performance and development (incl. commitment to commercial competency development).

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced e-commerce commercial operator with Amazon background.
  • Understands the UK Drinks Market with experience across the key channels of trade, ideally ecommerce or Grocery.
  • An experienced sales professional, with a high level of commercial experience understanding all Profit & Loss responsibilities and proven JBP negotiation success.
  • Commercially focused, with analytical & strong problem solving skills; with the ability to identify and optimise commercial opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation track record delivering CPI’s and landing NPD with excellence within their customer base.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with high impact and influence skill set to lead a virtual team and drive business support for one of our strategically important retailers.
  • Effective budget management skills, with high executional standards and attention to detail.
  • Ability to be adaptable and manage a demanding workload with a wide portfolio of accounts, prioritising effectively.
  • Creative with an entrepreneurial spirit; to be someone who can effect positive change.
