Business Account Manager

Role Summary
In this role, you’ll support a panel of financial advice intermediary accounts across your sales territory, helping to grow new business and retain profitable relationships for LV= Equity Release.
Working closely with a Business Development Manager, you’ll strengthen adviser relationships, support business growth and help keep LV= front of mind.
You’ll use your market knowledge and technical expertise to competently present the LV= Equity Release proposition, showing advisers how we can support them and deliver the right outcomes for their customers.
Key Accountabilities
- Achieve agreed business targets, including business volumes and the right mix of business from firms within your panel.
- Work closely with a Business Development Manager to help your panel perform successfully.
- Deliver against key business objectives and KPIs, including call volumes, quotations, applications and business retention.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with advisers and firms through regular calls and Teams meetings, presenting the LV= proposition clearly and confidently.
- Grow the number of advisers supporting LV= across your firms, panel and territory.
- Keep your knowledge up to date across the LV= Equity Release proposition, competitor offerings and our position in the market.
- Maintain and develop your technical skills to work effectively and efficiently.
- Follow LV= standards, policies and procedures, including requirements relating to compliance and conduct risk.
- Keep accurate records and reports in line with GDPR requirements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support shared company goals and business objectives.

About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Knowledge of LV= products and an understanding of our wider Equity Release proposition, including the support and services we offer.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present clearly over the phone and on Teams.
- The ability to apply technical knowledge to adviser and client scenarios and explain information in a clear, practical way.
- A good understanding of the wider market, competitor offerings and how LV= is positioned.
- Experience of working in financial services, or another regulated environment.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to use tools such as PowerPoint, Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- A QCF Level 4 qualification or certificate in Equity Release, or a willingness to gain this within two years of starting the role.
- An understanding of financial drivers and key business metrics.
