Remote / Field-Based Role Covering the Midlands | Excellent Bonus Potential | OTE £60,000 - £65,000
This transformational role will drive growth within a key division of a world-leading manufacturing company. You will begin by learning the industry, products, customer base, and market landscape, with the long-term goal of developing and owning your own portfolio of strategic accounts.

This position focuses on new business development and is ideal for someone who enjoys creating opportunities and opening new doors. You will be given a dedicated portfolio of prospect accounts to develop, focusing on organisations that are not currently customers. Through market research, networking, customer visits, industry events, and proactive outreach, you will build relationships with key stakeholders and convert target accounts into qualified sales opportunities.
Initially, you will focus on developing market knowledge, building relationships within your assigned accounts, and creating a strong pipeline of opportunities. As your expertise grows, you will become a trusted advisor to customers and play an increasingly influential role within the business. After a few months of training, you will travel weekly to visit customers at least 2 days per week.

Requirements:
- A driven and proactive personality.
- Experience in sales or account management.
- A background in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience in business development, field sales, technical sales, capital equipment sales, or similar customer-facing commercial roles. A background in manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, sheet metal, industrial technology, or capital equipment would be advantageous. However, we are equally interested in ambitious sales professionals with a proven track record of winning new business and developing customer relationships.
